Virgen del Socorro Sanctuary

The Sanctuary of Our Lady Help of Huanchaco, declared a Historic Monument, is a member of the Cultural Heritage of the Nation. The Shrine of Huanchaco is a monumental construction built on Huaca Chimu "Taska" in 1540, it is visible from several kilometers before reaching the creek and from colonial times served pilots address line; is considered the second indigenous Christian church in Cologne.
